This study was done in Los Angeles and Boston in 2022 and involved 284,592 vaccinated patients. Patients received Pfizer (62%), Moderna (31%), or Johnson & Johnson (6.9%) [less than 0.1% received another product such has AstraZeneca or Novavax]. They compared medical diagnoses that occurred within 90 days after vaccination compared to the 90 days before vaccination. The three diagnoses that had the highest post-vaccination odds were myocarditis, dysautonomia, and POTS.

Myocarditis risk increased by 157% [OR 2.57 (95% CI: 1.02-6.77, p = 0.046)].

Dysautonomia risk increased by 124% [OR 2.24 (95% CI: 1.30-3.87, p = 0.002)].

POTS risk increased by 52% [OR 1.52 (95% CI: 1.36-1.71, p < 0.001)].

Note the gender differences. Myocarditis was more common in males. POTS was more common in females.
